The next time you find yourself relaxing in your fabric hammock, you can think about this quote by Lin Yutang.
“Besides the noble art of getting things done, there is a nobler art of leaving things undone. The wisdom of life consists in the elimination of nonessentials.”
So, rest easy and know you are becoming happier and wiser with the time spent in your own getaway.
Have you ever done a search on the web for getaway? If you did, you would find in the results hundreds of vacation spots and clubs. I find it interesting that a getaway is so well known and refered to as a vacation spot.
In this spirit, you can create your own vacation spot in your own yard or patio by installing a hammock or hammock swing. This is what inspired the name of our recommended site listed on the sidebar. When creating your own getaway, be sure to check out hammock accessories to fine tune your hammock or swing and make it your own.
Next time you are relaxing in your rope hammock, think of something to help you relax and become wiser at the same time. So get horizontal and keep this in mind.
James Carroll was quoted as saying, “We spend most of our time and energy in a kind of horizontal thinking. We move along the surface of things (but) there are times when we stop. We sit still. We lose ourselves in a pile of leaves or its memory. We listen and breezes from a whole other world begin to whisper.”
